Last night, Princess was lining up her stuffed dogs on the couch. She took great pains to tell me exactly what was what:
"Now, Mommy, these two dogs are girl dogs. This one is named Hola Lola and this one is Cinderella." [She places the two girl dogs next to each other on the couch.] "Now these two are the boy dogs and they are the girl dogs' husbands. This one is Martray, and this one is Michael Jackson."
"Did she just say she named her dog Michael Jackson?" Sven asked from the kitchen.
"Yep," I confirmed.
"Which one?" Sven asked.
"This one," I replied, holding up the stuffed chihuahua.
"Yeah, that's about right," he nodded.
Life went on. I hope you enjoyed this slice of life from the Folksy house. We are off to San Antonio for TMEA convention, where I intend to update you with the fascinating world of public school music.

Ha! This made me snort.
I'm impressed at the pop culture references surrounding your small children's lives. Nice work.
You are obviously raising your children under the shining light of pop culture.
I heartily agree with this. :)
This rocks. Love it. Can't wait to hear the names my daughter comes up with.
